DERECHOS HUMANOS
CIEN AÑOS DE EVOLUCION DE LOS DERECHOS EN LA CONSTITUCION MEXICANA
HECTOR FIX-FIERRO / JACQUELINE MARTINEZ URIARTE
The Constitution of 1917 recuperates the liberal inheritance from the one in 1857 and incorporates social rights as a part of a strong State, capable of intervening for its individuals if necessary. Society's conformation and the clarification of its requirements have influenced the modifications introduced in the Magna Carta throughout the history of Mexico. The authors of this book make a meticulous review about the genesis and evolution of the model of the Constitution rights, which has gone from individual and social guarantees in 1917, to the human rights devoted in the centenary constitutional text, narrating the democratic transition, but also the remaining challenges in human rights subjects.
